Celebration of the swordsmith Matsuda Tsuguyasu to become intangible cultural heritage in Chiba Prefecture, on June 9, 2015.
On the June 9th, 2015 Chairman of the Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (CCCIJ) Mr. R. Watanabe together with Mr. Viktor Ono "Gonoushin", japanese swords blade restorer, originaly from Czech Republic participated on the celebration of swordsmith Matsuda Tsuguyasu and celebrated his certification as the intangible cultural heritage in Chiba Prefecture! He is only one swordsmith with this title in the Chiba Prefecture.
Swordsmith Matsuda Tsuguyasu by 40 years of his work and personal research succeed to reproduce the most famous Kamakura swords, the best stage of the history of japanese swords by the metallurgical aspects and artistic qualities. Those producing techniques was already forgotten. For those reasons he and his art become important cultural heritage in the Chiba Prefecture and keep part of Japanese history and culture for next generations.
One of his supporters participated on the celebration was japanese Sumo champion Yokozuna HAKUHO, who was the biggest guest on the celebration party!
