(September 28-30, 2018) CZECH FESTIVAL in Harajuku

We proudly announce that highly popular Czech festival will be held again this year and in response to last year visitors demand will be bigger. It will be held at Harajuku Quest Hall (600m2) that is about 3 times the size of last year event! A special cooperative program with the Slovak embassy is planned this year, which is the year of 100th anniversary of Czechoslovakia.
Mr. Jiří Votruba, a popular Czech painter, illustrated posters specially for Czech festival. For those of you who has been to Czech Republic, you might remember the pretty but unique illustrations. He is also well known in Japan for his work on the illustration of the music festival "La Folle Journé au Japon" for nine years.
Date: 2018 September 28th (Fri) – 2018 September 30th (Sun), 11:00-20:00

一昨年、昨年と大好評だったチェコフェスティバル。ご来場の皆様の「もっと大きなところで開催してほしい！」というご要望にお応えし、今年は約3倍の広さ（600m2）の原宿クエストホールで開催が決定！チェコスロバキア建国100周年である今年は、スロバキア大使館との特別協同プログラムも予定しています。
なんと今回のチェコフェスティバルのポスターなどのイラストを担当したのは大人気のチェコ人画家、イジー･ヴォトルバ氏。チェコに行ったことのある人なら、かわいらしくも個性的なイラストに見覚えがあるのではないでしょうか。日本では、9年にわたり音楽祭「ラ・フォル・ジュルネ・オ・ジャポン」のイメージ・イラストを手掛けたことでも知られています。
